The client is the National Speakers Association (1700 professional speakers in the same room at the same time!)) and the event is their annual convention. The theme this year was “The Magic of Community” and the backdrop was absolutely the hit of the event. This was a first use of a painted backdrop for nSA but I'm sure not the last. I recently started renting from Dream World Backdrops. I found Dream World on the Internet when I was searching for backdrops for a show that I found out about late on a Saturday afternoon. Dream World Backdrops brought dramatic touches to our décor and venue, transforming a northeast Florida hotel into a party fit for Hollywood stars. We placed a paparazzi-themed backdrop at the entrance to the event. Not only were our guests impressed, but people at a party in a nearby ballroom stole moments in front of our backdrop to take photos. The movie-maker silhouette backdrop was perfect for our stage. Over 500 patrons had a blast, and most importantly, we succeeded in raising one-third of our budget for the year.
